Axial CT image shows fatty replacement of the pancreas (arrowhead) and nodularity of the liver (arrow). Pancreatic findings of cystic fibrosis include pancreatic lipomatosis, pancreatic cystosis, pancreatic atrophy, and pancreatitis (both acute and chronic). Other abdominal findings of cystic fibrosis include cystic fibrosis liver disease (including a nodular pattern of the liver and hepatic steatosis), cholelithiasis, micro gallbladder, and intestinal obstruction.
